Mr. Ibarra joined Creation in 2020 and is a Director, focusing his energy and efforts on investments in Mexico and the rest of Latin America. Previously, he was a Vice President at Linzor Capital Partners in Mexico City, where he covered Mexico and Latin America. Earlier, he held multiple operational roles in financial institutions, including Finance Director of Engen Capital. Prior to that, he was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley, where he led the execution of cross-border merger and acquisitions in Latin America across multiple industries.

Mr. Ibarra sits on the board of several of the firm's portfolio companies with prior experience on boards in the SME lending, leasing, insurance, retail, and telecom sectors.

Mr. Ibarra received a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with Honors, a Master of Science in Economics from the Tecnológico de Monterrey, and a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management from the Tecnológico de Monterrey. He was the sole recipient of the Summa Cum Laude honor, Tower of Excellence honor, and EGADE Merit Scholarship from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Mr. Ibarra resides in Mexico City with his wife and children.
